The Rhyme Game at therhymegame.info is a free place to practise freestyle rap in your browser. A beat plays, a ball bounces on every beat, and a rhyme word lands on beat four. You fill in the rest. There is no app to download, no account and no paywall.
What you’ll find here
The game is the heart of the site. You choose the tempo from 70 to 160 BPM, how much help you get and the rhyme scheme, and you rap for 8, 16 or 32 bars, or for as long as you like. Around it sit free tools: a freestyle word generator, a rhyme generator and freestyle beats at any tempo. The guides explain freestyle, rhyme schemes and the kinds of rhyme rappers use, each with examples you can say out loud on a beat.
Why it exists
Freestyle looks like a talent, but it is mostly practice: keeping time, having rhymes ready and not stopping when you blank. We built the site so anyone can practise those three things for a few minutes a day, on any phone or computer, without signing up or paying.
How the guides are made
The guides are written and edited by The Rhyme Game team. Each one starts from research into what people actually ask, and every fact, date and number is checked against a source before it goes live, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, publishers of the original texts and official app store listings. The example bars are written for the site, so no song lyrics are copied. Rhyme lists come from the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary, filtered to about 32,000 common English words.

therhymegame.info is independent. It is not affiliated with Creative Rhythm or The Rhyme Game app. The site is free because it shows ads, and the game never uses your microphone.
